Kinsale Triathlon Club is always looking for new members!! Men and women, young and old, Ironmen to complete novices. We aim to cater for all ages and abilities. You have already taken the first step by clicking on this page, so check us out to see if our club is the right fit for you!

Types of Membership Available

Club Memberships are for 12 months, running for the calendar year from January to December. To train with the club, ALL members – regardless of your type of membership – will also require Triathlon Ireland Membership for insurance purposes. Details of Triathlon Ireland (TI) requirements are listed in point 5 below. (So you must have TI + KTC club membership to train with the club)

1 – Adult Full Membership €30
When you join the club as a Full Member of Kinsale Triathlon club (over 16yrs) you are eligible to train with the club for the year, details of training are on this website and on our Facebook page. Membership gives you access to the coached training sessions, members evenings, social events and you will also be able to race for the club.

On joining you will receive a Membership card from Triathlon Ireland. This card must be completed and brought to club events and races. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail from our KTC membership coordinator, you will be added to the club newsletter list and also receive updates on special offers available exclusively to members.

2 – Adult Associate Membership €30
If you are already a member of another club (and have a TI membership) but you live in Kinsale or travel here often then you can now join the club and train with us and take advantage of our training programs. If you have already registered with another club on the TI website will not be able to join online please contact our members coordinator at kinsaletriclub@gmail.com

3 – Junior Membership - Not available

4 -You MUST Volunteer
As a member of the Kinsale Triathlon Club you will be required to volunteer your services (or those of a signification other or sub) at one race/event annually. This is an excellent way to get to know people in the club, to get some race experience, but also to give something back.

5 – VERY IMPORTANT you must join Triathlon Ireland
To train with the Club you will also need to also join Triathlon Ireland (TI) buying either a Full or Non-Racing Membership.
  • TI Full Membership provides third party insurance cover at TI Sanctioned Races, and organised club training sessions.
  • TI Non-Racing Membership provides third party insurance at organised club training sessions but not for racing, you will have to pay a one-day licence fee per race.

How to Join

Membership for Kinsale Triathlon Club is now handled through Triathlon Ireland.
